About Empowerment Academy
We are a 100% black owned business that will be accredited with QCTO (Quality
Council for Trades and Occupations) and we obtain funding through MERSETA to
train apprentices and place them in permanent jobs once qualified.
Founded by Darren Naidoo, Managing Director of
Andre’s Panel & Paint, a highly successful
panelbeating business in Germiston, Empowerment Academy was born from Darren’s passion for people and his commitment to
community upliftment. Darren wants to pay his blessings forward!
Having seen first-hand the challenges faced by
individuals seeking employment and stability,
Darren established Empowerment Academy to
bridge the gap between opportunity and potential.
His vision is simple yet powerful:
to empower individuals by creating pathways for
employment, personal growth, and professional
development.
At Empowerment Academy, we believe that when
one person is given the chance to succeed, their
entire family and community benefit. In South Africa,
where many households support extended families,

placement within our programmes, but Darren’s
commitment ensures that no one is left behind.
